Reduce Sugar Cravings with Hypnosis

Bob S. came to see us after suffering a heart attack and completing a Cardiac Rehab program.   • Added sugars and solid fats in food, as well as alcoholic beverages are categorized as “discretionary calories” and should be eaten sparingly.
  • Most American women should consume no more than 100 calories of added sugars per day; most men, no more than 150 calories.
  • Soft drinks and other sugar-sweetened beverages are the number one source of added sugars in the American diet

The American Heart Association’s recommendations echo what we have been teaching our clients for years.  High level consumptions of added sugars lead to obesity and increase your risk of developing high blood pressure, high cholesterol and heart disease.  Many of our clients have successfully used hypnosis to help them eliminate cravings for sugars, sweets and carbohydrates.

Weight Loss Hypnosis

So, you may be asking yourself “why” with all of the health education and initiatives available, why do obesity rates continue to rise?

As  personal side note; BMI is probably not the best prediction on determining obesity on an individual basis because it doesn’t take a person’s body composition into consideration but when looking at large statistics such as obesity rates in the US it seems to make sense.  If you are concerned that you may be obese or that your current body weight may put you at greater risk of developing specific diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and specific forms of cancer your doctor would be able to give you a more appropriate diagnosis.
